Your role and responsibilities

This role is for an SAP Revenue Accounting and Reporting Managing Consultant, which delivers SAP implementation services across all sectors of TruQua and IBM within North America. This individual will be responsible for leading project teams as well as serving as an individual contributor, proposal development, ensuring the quality of team delivery, thought leadership, keeping the team members utilized, and ultimately growing revenue on projects.

The practitioner will be highly knowledgeable with required SAP S/4HANA Finance product module/suite business processes, navigation mechanics, and configuration requirements and integration with other modules. This individual will lead practitioners to develop and maintain the configuration and functional design documents and support role-based profile changes. You will be advising client executives and leaders on the benefits delivered by SAP RAR within as strategic assets of their broader Finance Transformation.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Revenue Accounting and Reporting (RAR) consultant with 5+ years' experience integration with SD

• Experience, able to speak on business requirements, and leading practices for IFRS15, IFRS16, ASC 606, ASC842, etc.

• Experience solutioning integration with Fixed Assets / Lease Accounting and Revenue Recognition (RAR)

• Experience with:

o SD-based Revenue Recognition

o RAR Classic Contract Management (CCM)

o RAR implementing Optimized Contract Management (OCM)

• Experience creating Process Design Documents (PDDs) based on leading practices and business requirements, outlining the process flow, WRICEF (development) requirements, and process / system controls

• Successful conversions to S/4HANA Revenue Recognition OCM, including writing design document (WRICEF Functional Spec) from ECC (with and without SD-Rev Rec) and working with developers on the same

• Experience solutioning Revenue Accounting solutions for standalone and bundled sales offers, including:

o Products (one-time sales, recurring sales, usage based models)

o Services / Intellectual Property (warranty, repair, access, training, royalties)

o Software (On Prem, SaaS, Credit-based, Post or Pre-paid)

Experience implementing Revenue Accounting solutions in Medical Devices, High Tech, or Utilities industries with asset-based sales models with or without consumable / usage scenarios.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Experience and able to provide leading practice for:

o Revenue Recognition integrated from Billing and Revenue Innovation Management (BRIM)

o Revenue Recognition integrated to Contract Accounting (FI-CA)

o Revenue, Cost, and Margin (G/L and Margin Analysis) reporting with bundles.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
