Your role and responsibilities

Product Manager II, IBM Corporation, San Francisco, CA:

  • Define the product vision and strategy for HashiCorp Vault, aligned with the overall company objectives and market trends.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on customer feedback, market research, and business goals.
  • Lead a cross-functional team of product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to execute the product roadmap effectively.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the product team.
  • Deeply understand customer needs, pain points, and use cases through direct interaction, market research, and feedback channels.
  • Advocate for the voice of the customer in product decision-making processes and ensure that product initiatives align with customer requirements.
  • Drive the entire product development lifecycle from concept to launch, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements, establish milestones, and manage dependencies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop go-to-market strategies, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.
  • Support marketing efforts through participation in events, webinars, and other promotional activities.
  • Monitor key product metrics and performance indicators to track the success of product initiatives.
  • Iterate on the product based on user feedback, market dynamics, and competitive analysis to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
