Product Manager, API Connect

• Work with senior leadership to ensure alignment across business functions.

• Interview customers and other key stakeholders to test hypotheses and iterate on designs.

• Work with other IBM product teams to ensure a top-quality developer experience that aligns with the rest of IBM's offerings.

• Write detailed product specifications and requirements and work with design and engineering through development to ensure the delivery of excellent software.

• Work with Outbound PM and Marketing to produce demos, sales collateral, and enablement materials for API Studio.

Required education

High School Diploma/GED

Preferred education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• 3+ years of professional experience in enterprise software product management and/or software engineering.

• Strong collaboration skills with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, sales, support, and professional services).

• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.

Preferred technical and professional experience

• Deep knowledge of REST APIs, Event Driven Architecture, and GraphQL.

• Hands-on experience with DevOps and/or REST API Development.

• Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or Business.
