Your role and responsibilities
As a part of the Network Deployment Engineer team this will be in support of end-to-end deployment of enterprise wired and wireless networks, ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure across diverse environments. My experience spans full-stack hardware installation, Wi-Fi design and validation, advanced troubleshooting, and coordination with carriers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless branch and campus network implementations.

- Deploy enterprise network infrastructure-including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, WAN optimizers, UPS systems, encryptors, and wireless/mobile kits-across sites of varying size and complexity.
- Plan, design, implement, and validate Wi-Fi and WLAN solutions, performing pre- and post-deployment wireless surveys and producing detailed survey reports.
- Install and configure Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Meraki platforms, Riverbed RIOS, and F5 BIG-IP to ensure network compliance, security, and operational readiness.
- Diagnose and resolve complex wired and wireless infrastructure issues through root-cause analysis, while coordinating with LECs and telecom providers for installation, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Support strategic network initiatives by contributing to automation/orchestration efforts, maintaining deployment documentation, and providing input for future network planning and budgeting.

Required technical and professional expertise
- Knowledge of routing and switching protocols
- Expertise with IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnetting, route redistribution, and traffic engineering.
- Hands-on experience with QoS, multicast, VPN technologies, and WAN topologies.
- Proficiency with enterprise network hardware
- Experience deploying wireless solutions, including AP provisioning, RF design basics, and wireless controllers.
- Experience in rack-and-stack, cable management, physical installation, and equipment turn-up.
- Proficient in device configuration, staging, and zero-touch provisioning processes.
- Ability to perform site surveys, capacity assessments, and pre-deployment planning.
- Working knowledge of firewalls, ACLs, IDS/IPS, and segmentation.
- Familiarity with security standards such as NIST, ISO 27001, and compliance requirements
- Experience with cloud networking in AWS, Azure, or GCP (VPCs, VNets, transit gateways, cloud routers).
- Understanding of network automation using Python, Ansible, Netmiko/NAPALM, or Terraform.
- Knowledge of APIs, automation pipelines, and Infrastructure-as-Code best practices.
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as SolarWinds, DNAC, Prime, NetBox, Nagios, Zabbix, Splunk, or Grafana.
- Familiarity with packet capture and analysis tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
- Knowledge of ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira) and change control processes.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
