IT Solutions Architect

Your role and responsibilities
Define and describe an architecture of a system delivered in context of a specific solution and as such it may encompass description of an entire system or only its specific parts. Leads the technical decisions being made regarding the solution and how they impact the business outcomes; address the non functional aspects of the solution or identify requirements that require definition on the technology being used. Assume primary responsibly for making decisions around the nature of the solution.
Analytical Problem Solving:
Recognized as a thought leader in analytical problem solving, with the ability to influence team direction and strategy. Leads efforts to simplify organizational processes, creating a more agile environment that adapts quickly to changing demands.
Develops and implements complex analytical frameworks to address significant challenges, evaluating the impact of solutions on organizational objectives.
Mentors others in analytical techniques and creative problem-solving strategies. Establishes feedback loops for ongoing improvement. Champions the adoption of technology solutions to make informed decisions and eliminate bottlenecks in project delivery, enhancing overall organizational efficiency.

Required technical and professional expertise
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- 7+ years of experience in IT solutions architecture
- Experience in an IT project delivery environment, engaging with clients as an IT solutions architect and delivering tailored solutions. Experience in the delivery of at least two large projects.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in the software engineering cycle and project delivery phases.
- Proven experience as an IT solutions architect. Experience in large-scale migration and modernization projects.
- Strong technical consulting leadership: translating technical solutions into business outcomes
- Business development support: solutioning and proposals.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Knowledge and experience with projects in the Banking and/or Financial sector.
Knowledge of Enterprise Content Management solutions and/or Business Process Re-engineering solutions.
