Als Teil eines unserer IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers arbeitest du eng mit Teams aus Beratung, Technologie, Architektur und Defence‑Expertise zusammen, um Behörden sowie sicherheitsrelevante Organisationen bei der Entwicklung und Umsetzung komplexer Vorhaben zu unterstützen.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
Als Industry Consultant - Public Sektor (m/w/d) berätst du öffentliche Einrichtungen und insbesondere sicherheitsrelevante Organisationen wie die Bundeswehr in strategischen Transformations‑, Modernisierungs‑ und Technologieprojekten. Du nutzt deine fundierte Erfahrung aus dem militärischen Umfeld sowie deine technischen und organisatorischen Fähigkeiten, um Projekte zu gestalten und erfolgreich umzusetzen.

Zu deinen Aufgaben gehören unter anderem:
- Beratung von Kunden aus dem Public‑ und Defence‑Sektor, insbesondere im Umfeld der Bundeswehr
- Entwicklung strategischer Konzepte für Transformation, Modernisierung und Einsatz neuer Technologien
- Leitung und Steuerung komplexer Projekte im öffentlichen Umfeld
- Unterstützung im Business Development, inklusive Analyse von Kundenbedarfen und Entwicklung passender Lösungsansätze
- Nutzung von technischem und IT‑Fachwissen zur Bewertung, Gestaltung und Umsetzung von Systemarchitekturen
- Anwendung von Best Practices, Innovationsstrategien und relevanten Trends im Defence‑Sektor
- Analyse und Definition technischer Anforderungen sowie fachlicher Lösungskonzepte
- Zusammenarbeit mit cross‑funktionalen Teams, inklusive Führung und fachlicher Anleitung
- Einbringung spezieller Expertise in den Bereichen Electronic Warfare (EW) und/oder Intelligence
Required education

Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Erfahrung im Umfeld der Bundeswehr; idealerweise ehemaliger Offizier
- Erfahrung in Business Development und Projektmanagement
- Ausgeprägte Führungsfähigkeiten
- Technisches und IT‑Fachwissen
- Lösungsorientierte Arbeitsweise
- Expertise im Systemdesign und in der Implementierung
- Kenntnisse relevanter Best Practices, Trends, Innovationsstrategien und Branchenentwicklungen
- Technischer Hintergrund auf Master‑Niveau
- Fundierte Expertise im Bereich Electronic Warfare (EW) und/oder Intelligence
