Human Resources Professional
Introduction
As the Inclusion Lead for IBM Japan Group, you will be responsible for driving initiatives that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I), with a particular focus on PwDA employment and broader inclusion programs.
The main responsibilities of the position include developing strategies and managing progress towards achieving the legally required employment rate for people with disabilities, running the Access Blue Program (an internship for people with disabilities), coordinating with related organization, reporting to senior leaders, and promoting understanding and fostering a culture of inclusion for employees, including promoting women's participation in the workforce and LGBTQ+, as well as disseminating information.

- Planning, organization and operation of the Access Blue Program (PM, facilitators and intern people managers will be assigned separately)
- Conversion after internship (PwDA recruiter will be assigned separately)
- Implement recruitment plans in collaboration with BU leaders and recruitment teams
- Strengthening the care staff system (separate organization of care staff)
- Providing support and consultation to PwDA employees, their superiors, and organizations
- Coordinating and Providing Reasonable Accommodation
- Information dissemination for PwDA
- Sharing employment rate achievements with senior leaders
- Reducing legal risks due to not achieving the legal employment rate and considering response policies to Hello Work (Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare)
- Audit response
- Implementation of corporate obligations under the Act on Promotion of Women's Participation and Advancement in the Workplace
- Implementing measures based on the LGBT Awareness Promotion Act
- Planning measures to achieve these goals, coordinating with related departments, and implementing them
- Data acquisition and report submission
- Goal setting/evaluation, consultation and advice for PwDA employees
- Improving the work environment
- Coordination and collaboration with related departments within the company

- Disseminating information inside and outside the company, raising awareness within the company

Required education
None
Preferred education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- Expertise in the DE&I domain.
- Ability to handle a multifaceted role encompassing strategy formulation, on-site coordination, legal compliance, and reporting to senior leadership.
- Experience in people management.
- Budget management.
- English proficiency enabling effective communication with global team members.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- Networking with external organisations and government bodies (such as disability employment support agencies)
- Experience promoting D&I within global corporations
- Data analysis and reporting skills (including measuring initiative effectiveness and proposing improvements)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Social Insurance and Labour Consultant, Industrial Counsellor)
