Your role and responsibilities

Develop and leverage high level government relationships with the Australian Government to influence IT policy settings to support IBM strategic business interests especially in AI, Quantum, Hybrid Cloud and drive other key market access interests in support of business growth.

Required technical and professional expertise

Deep and wide current relationships with the Australia Government. A professional understanding of the policy making process of the Australian Government. Outcomes focus and ability to work with key industry associations and directly with government department and ministers to drive policy outcomes in the IT space favorable to and supporting IBM's strategy.

Preferred technical and professional experience

Professional communications skills, policy expertise, government relations building skills and strong throught leadership and policy development skills. A strong understanding of IT technology and policy trends as applies to AI, hybrid-cloud, Quantum computer, cyber security.
