Functional Consultant Lead

Leadership & Collaboration

• Lead a small team of analysts/developers providing direction, coaching, and technical mentorship.
• Conduct root-cause analysis sessions, technical reviews, and performance assessments.
• Partner with business stakeholders, application owners, and infrastructure teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Manage vendors and coordinate activities for upgrades, patches, integrations, and system releases.

Required education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• 12+ years of experience in enterprise application development, support and Functional leadership roles.
• Deep expertise in:

• Oracle Applications (ERP / HCM / Financials or relevant modules)
• Workday (HCM, Finance, Integrations, Reporting)
• Strong experience in HR, Payroll, Benefits integrations
• Functional experience and process configuration knowledge in HR module of workday
• M&A Experience and handled at least 2-3 large acquisition/divestiture projects

• Strong techno-functional understanding of business processes across HR Function
• Basic knowledge with integrations (REST, SOAP, APIs, middleware), data flows, and troubleshooting complex application issues.
• Strong SQLPLSQL expertise with analytical level skillset
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience managing stakeholders and supporting client-facing systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Workday HCM Certifications.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives or enterprise transformation programs.

For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
