Your role and responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Enterprise Project Portfolio Management (EPPM) Specialist is responsible for the strategic planning, coordination, and implementation of enterprise-wide project portfolio management processes. This role involves overseeing the selection, configuration, and maintenance of EPPM tools, ensuring alignment with corporate strategies, and driving optimization of resource allocation across projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Project Portfolio Management (PPM): Develop and implement PPM methodologies and tools that align with the organization's strategic goals.
- Tool Expertise: Serve as the primary point of contact for the EPPM tool(s), managing configurations, updates, and system integrations.
- Data Analysis: Regularly extract, analyze, and interpret project data to provide insights for informed decision-making.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve EPPM processes and workflows to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and manage expectations.
- Reporting & Communication: Prepare comprehensive project reports and present findings to executives and project teams.
- Resource Management: Optimize resource allocation across projects to ensure efficient use and maximum project success.
- Training & Support: Provide training and support to users on EPPM tools and best practices.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks to project portfolios and develop mitigation strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all project portfolio management activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
Preferred technical and professional experience
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in EPPM, preferably within a complex organizational environment.
- Deep understanding of PPM methodologies, tools, and best practices.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and techniques.
- Experience with leading EPPM software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
