DevOps Cloud Engineer
Introduction
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, GCP and Azure using Terraform and automation tools.
Implement automation and orchestration tools to streamline deployment, monitoring, and management processes.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions for automated testing and deployment.
Work closely with development teams to optimize application performance in cloud environments.
Manage and optimize containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), and service mesh solutions (Istio).
Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues, ensuring high availability and reliability.
Implement security best practices, including TLS, mTLS, certificates, encryption, IAM policies, and secrets management.
Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve efficiency and scalability.
Your role and responsibilities
As a DevOps Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security. You will work closely with development teams to streamline deployment processes, optimize cloud environments, implement and maintain software release pipelines. The role also requires on-call rotation.

Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
Strong expertise in AWS, Load Balancers (ALB/NLB/ELB), IAM, Security Groups, and VPC networking (and similar components in Azure cloud)
Expert-level knowledge of Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Extensive hands-on experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) (Certified Kubernetes Admin/Developer preferred)
Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Argo, Helm, and Kustomize
Familiarity with security protocols, encryption, transport layer security (TLS/mTLS), and certificate management
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell and Python for automation
Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols, including VPCs, subnets, firewalls, DNS, and load balancing
Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills
AWS/Azure Certifications are a plus
Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
