Demo Automation Specialist

Introduction
We're looking for a Demo Automation Specialist to manage and scale our interactive demo environment, streamline creation workflows, and support teams across IBM in building high-quality, reusable demo experiences. In this role, you'll partner with SMEs, sellers, and product teams to define processes, guide demo creators, and ensure demos meet IBM design and technical standards. You'll play a key part in driving demo automation, improving field readiness, and elevating the overall client experience.
Your role and responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day management of our demo automation platforms, including governance, configuration, and optimization of the Navattic environment.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for demo creators and consumers, providing guidance on best practices, brand alignment, and technical standards.
- Build and maintain repeatable processes for demo intake, creation, review, publication, and lifecycle management to ensure consistency and quality.
- Partner with SMEs, Offering Managers, Sellers, TechZone teams, and field specialists to turn complex product capabilities into clear, reusable interactive demos.
- Oversee demo metadata, tagging, analytics, and usage insights to support ISC alignment and strategic prioritization.
- Drive continuous improvement by documenting workflows, refining templates, and enabling teams through office hours, enablement sessions, and how-to content.
- Ensure demos adhere to IBM design, architecture, and governance standards, including security, data handling, and accessibility guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Experience Engineering/Content Studio team to integrate demos into briefing packages, One Madison activations, trade show content, and field-ready experiences.
- Identify opportunities to automate demo-building workflows, increase scalability, and reduce manual effort for internal teams.

- Familiarity with interactive demo platforms and basic web/Cloud concepts (e.g., GitHub, HTML/CSS, APIs, cloud environments).
- Ability to translate technical features into clear, compelling demo flows.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proven ability to build processes, documentation, and repeatable frameworks.
- Comfortable managing multiple demo requests, timelines, and cross-team dependencies.
- Experience with IBM design or TechZone environments is a plus.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
This position is eligible for participation in an IBM Sales Incentive plan. Actual incentive opportunity will be based on performance and the eligible Target Incentive, as addressed in the applicable plan, all of which is subject to change. The compensation range listed for this position is the IBM Reference Salary that is used when you are not actively participating in a sales plan. Your actual base pay plus incentive opportunity will be determined by the Incentive Plan assigned to you.
