IBM Consulting seeks an experienced Senior Sales Executive focused on Financial Services (banking and insurance). This role strengthens Go-to-Market strategy, generates new contracts, and expands opportunities with strategic clients, leveraging trends like digitalization and AI/ML solutionsHiring manager and Recruiter should collaborate to create the relevant verbiage.
Your role and responsibilities
Role Summary:
Seeking expert to boost sales in Financial Services (banking, insurance). Focus: new contracts, key client growth (e.g., CSOB, Allianz), revenue goals in digitalization, AI/ML, cloud.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute sales strategies for Financial Services, identifying opportunities in Data & Analytics, Cloud migration, and Vendor Consolidation.
- Manage key accounts (e.g., CSOB, Allianz, Kooperativa) and opportunistic clients (e.g., KB, Generali), targeting €8-10M revenue in 2026-2027.
- Lead C-level negotiations, prepare proposals, and close deals using IBM solutions (e.g., AWS, Genesys, AI/ML).
- Collaborate with consulting and technical teams for project delivery, aligning with IBM methodologies.
- Monitor market trends in Financial Services to maximize opportunities.

Required technical and professional expertise
- 20+ years in sales, business development, and consulting, with proven success in Financial Services. Prior IBM experience (10+ years) preferred, including awards like IBM Hundred Percent Club or Gartner Winners Circle.
- Expertise in solution selling, strategic negotiations, and global accounts; ability to build C-level trust.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Economics, or related field.
- Fluent in Czech and English; additional languages a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and results-oriented mindset.

- 20+ years of experience in sales, business development, and consulting, with a proven track record in driving revenue growth and securing large contracts in the Financial Services sector (banking and insurance).

- Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships, identify opportunities, and provide business insights to achieve outcomes.
- Understanding of IBM solutions in hybrid cloud, AI/ML, cybersecurity, and data & analytics, including tools like Cloud Hyperscalers, Call Center, CRM, ERP, and IoT/OT systems.
- Expertise in financial services trends such as digital transformation, vendor consolidation, platform consolidation, and core system modernization.
- Proficiency in incorporating hardware and software into client-valued solutions, with a focus on hybrid cloud and AI growth offerings.
- Technical advisory skills to demonstrate capabilities and support implementation readiness in areas like BIAT
