Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Business Analyst to join our IT Business Unit. In this role, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams, gathering and analyzing business requirements, documenting processes, and creating clear and concise documentation. Strong writing abilities and proficiency in creating visual diagrams are essential.

Key Responsibilities

- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and other elicitation techniques

- Create clear and concise business process documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), process flows, and user guides

- Produce high-quality technical writing, such as functional specifications, system documentation, and knowledge base articles

- Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand complex systems and processes

- Develop visual diagrams and process flows using tools like Visio or draw.io to facilitate understanding

- Assist in the implementation and testing of new systems and processes.

- Support agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, using tools like Jira

- Contribute to the maintenance and improvement of ServiceNow IT support and knowledge base systems.

Required technical and professional expertise

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field

- Strong written and verbal communication skills

- Proficiency in business writing, technical writing, and documentation

- Ability to create clear and effective visual diagrams using tools like Visio or draw.io

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred technical and professional experience

- Experience in an IT or technology-related field

- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma)

- Familiarity with agile project management principles and practices

- Publishing experience (e.g., articles, blogs, or whitepapers)

- Experience with Atlassian suite, including Jira, Confluence, and Agile/Kanban methodologies

- Familiarity with ServiceNow IT support and knowledge base systems.
