Your role and responsibilities

We're looking for a highly motivated early-career Software Engineer with strong SQL and Python skills to join our team. In this role, you'll collaborate with senior engineers and analysts to build and maintain data-driven applications, automate workflows, and contribute to ongoing platform improvements. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance your technical skills in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
• Assist in building ETL pipelines and automation tools
• Support debugging and troubleshooting efforts across applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions

Required education

High School Diploma/GED

Preferred education

Bachelor's Degree

Required technical and professional expertise

• Strong proficiency in SQL (e.g., joins, subqueries, indexing, data modeling)
• Solid Python programming skills, especially for data manipulation and automation
• Basic understanding of software development best practices
• Good communication skills and eagerness to learn

Preferred technical and professional experience

• A bachelor's and/or master's degree in computer science
• Experience with JavaScript and Node.js
• Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git)
• Familiarity with REST APIs or web frameworks (e.g., Flask, FastAPI, Fastify)
• Exposure to cloud platforms or container, CI / CD

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
