Your role and responsibilities

Automation Digital Technical Specialist, IBM Corporation, Armonk, NY and various unanticipated client sites throughout the US (Up to 40% telecommuting permitted):

  • Act as an Automation technical expert for the company's Automation technology brands and present value-driving solutions to business partners.
  • Lead strategic territory planning, collaborate with sales teams and partners, and leverage digital tools to identify and close sales opportunities.
  • Drive sales growth by engaging with clients, managing sales processes, and executing marketing

cadences.

  • Focus on revenue generation through client and sales engagement, using digital tools to manage relationships and sales processes.
  • Offer technical support in the initial stages of sales, including conducting demos, creating proofs of concept, and facilitating workshops for various clients.
  • Develop technical resources, such as user guides and FAQs, to support clients in utilizing automation tools effectively.
  • Conduct assessments of client environments to identify opportunities for automation and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with the product team to ensure the solutions offered align with client needs and industry standards.
  • Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to provide clients with insights that enhance their automation strategies.
  • Participate in the creation of marketing materials that highlight the technical advantages of automation solutions, ensuring alignment with client pain points and business goals.
  • Help to build a strong personal brand across digital platforms.
  • Act outcome-oriented to achieve sales targets, increase market share, and drive revenue.
  • Collaborate with external clients, sales teams, partners, and technical experts to ensure the effective execution of sales strategies using digital tools.
  • Utilize: Statista, Google Workspace, Linux, Hybrid Cloud, Salesforce, Jira, Financial analysis modeling, Python (for Data Analysis/Visualization), draw.io (for enterprise transformation discovery).

Required: Bachelor's degree or equivalent and one (1) year of experience as a Consultant or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Statista, Google Workspace, Linux, Hybrid Cloud, Salesforce, Jira, Financial analysis modeling, Python (for Data Analysis/Visualization), draw.io (for enterprise transformation discovery). $125408 - $158900 per year.
