Account Technical Leader

Your role and responsibilities
The is a Account Technical Leader role. ATL needs deeply engaged with selected clients, including pre-sales activities, such PoC, solutin design, benchmarking. He/She should well undestand IBM Technology profolilo, includes IBM Storage Tape, Storage Scale, IBM Automation software ( LSF, Aspera, Hashicorp, Appitio) and IBM Data Software ( Confluent) in selected top accounts. He/She needs to understand value propsation of IBM solution and know how to embaded IBM offering into Hyperscaler's solutions.
Required education
Bachelor's Degree
Preferred education
Doctorate Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
5+ years of experience at internet or cloud platform companies; preference given to candidates with experience at leading hyper scalers
Mastery of core technologies and skills, with hands-on capability to complete POCs, deliverables, and configurations
Core technologies and skills include but are not limited to:
- Foundational programming languages such as Java/C/C++/Python
- Proficiency and deep understanding of cloud-native and containerized environments and infrastructure
- Practical operational experience with daily high-standard SLAs and high availability
- Background in enterprise architecture planning and design for Tier 1 public cloud providers (Alibaba, Tencent, ByteDance, Baidu)
- Familiarity with public cloud products
- Proficiency in public cloud architecture
- Expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) architecture
- Experience with automated operations and maintenance on public clouds
- Experience using or developing open-source systems
Possess the following key soft skills and personal qualities:
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Strong resilience and problem-solving abilities to ensure rapid recovery during extreme scenarios like internet-facing service disruptions
- Continuous learning mindset to adapt to rapidly evolving industry technologies
- English communication proficiency
Deep understanding of core business and monetization models in internet and cloud platforms, with unique insights on leveraging technology to boost traffic and user acquisition
