Explore HRT - Singapore
Explore HRT is a three-day program where we invite promising 2028 graduates pursuing a degree in computer science, mathematics, or other STEM-related fields to HRT’s Singapore office to learn about the quantitative finance industry. Students will have a unique opportunity to learn about HRT’s technical roles, discover how we operate, and ask questions about what it’s like to work at one of the world’s top quantitative trading firms. Participation in this program may result in fast-tracked consideration for future internship opportunities!
Program Details
- Dates: Wednesday, May 13th - Friday, May 15th
- Location: HRT Singapore Office
- Travel and Lodging: Travel and hotel accommodations will be provided. Participants should plan to arrive on May 12th and depart on May 16th.
What to Expect
This program features technical talks led by HRT team members, hands-on collaboration with our software engineering and algorithm development teams, 1:1 sessions with technical staff, and social events highlighting our Singapore office.
Applicants will choose between two tracks: Algorithm Developer or Software Engineering. Throughout the program, you’ll work closely with HRT team members on real, day-to-day challenges in a practical, hands-on environment.
Eligibility Requirements
- Full-time undergraduate students graduating between winter 2027 and fall 2028
- Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Maths, CS, Stats, Physics, or a related field
- A strong interest in technology and a passion for learning and solving complex problems
- High proficiency in C++ or Python
- This program is open to Singaporeans and all international students interested in full-time employment opportunities in Singapore

- The application process will include an online assessment and a 60-minute technical interview.

- Week of March 30th - Technical interviews conducted
