Lab Administrative Research Technician- King Lab
Primary Work Address: 2033 Valley Life Sciences Building, Berkeley, CA, 94720-3140

We have a rare opportunity for a Lab Administration Research Technician to join the King Lab at the University of California, Berkeley. The King lab seeks to understand the genetic, genomic, and cellular foundations of animal origins. To do this, King lab members study the closest living relatives of animals, the choanoflagellates. Genes shared by choanoflagellates and animals - including signaling and adhesion gene homologs - were likely present in their last common ancestor and may shed light on the transition to multicellularity. More information about the lab and its work can be found by visiting https://kinglab.berkeley.edu/.
