How you'll make an impact:

• Be the key guardian of welding and painting quality control, ensuring every product meets the highest industry and customer standards
• Drive compliance with ISO 5817, and EN 15085 requirements while identifying and preventing quality deviations before they impact product performance and customer satisfaction
• Collaborate with cross functional organization teams to improve processes, strengthen product reliability, and support a culture of continuous improvement. Your expertise will directly contribute to safe, durable, and world-class manufactured products.

• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering with a minimum of 6 years of experience in welding and painting quality inspection.
• ASNT/ISO Visual Testing (VT) and Penetrant Testing (PT) certifications are preferred.
• Experience in the railway industry is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of EN 15085 welding quality requirements, with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS), and Welding Procedure Qualification Records (WPQR).
• Sound understanding of ISO 5817 welding acceptance criteria and inspection requirements.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, quality checklists, and compliance documentation to ensure traceability, audit readiness, and adherence to regulatory and customer requirements.
• Demonstrate flexibility and a willingness to travel regularly to supplier sites, providing timely inspection support to meet production and customer delivery commitments, including during weekends and public holidays when business needs require.
• Support the designated quality owner in the investigation, resolution, and closure of non-conformities (NCs) and customer complaints, driving effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
