Service Bidding Specialist

The Bidding Specialist role focuses on preparing, coordinating, and submitting competitive bids and proposals in line with company standards and customer requirements.

How you'll make an impact:

• Prepares and submits Service bids and proposals according to Hitachi Energy's processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with all technical and commercial requirements.
• Reviews tender documents (RFP/RFQ) to identify scope, risks, and deliverables, and coordinates internally to gather necessary inputs.
• Ensures accurate pricing, cost estimation, and application of commercial terms in line with company guidelines.
• Collaborates with sales, engineering, legal, and finance teams to develop complete and competitive offers.
• Maintains effective communication with customers during the bidding process to clarify requirements and provide updates.
• Tracks bid status, deadlines, and documentation using company tools, and proposes improvement actions when needed.
• Supports negotiation phases by providing detailed cost breakdowns and compliance clarifications.
• Ensures timely submission of bids and monitors contract execution after award, assisting with administrative and project handover activities.

Your background:

• University degree in Power/Energy/Electrical or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in bidding, tendering, or proposal preparation within the Energy sector.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
• Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and familiarity with ERP/CRM tools.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple bids simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
• High sense of responsibility and accountability.
