Tender and Sales Specialist

The Opportunity

Are you passionate about combining technical expertise with customer engagement? Join Hitachi Energy as a Service Tender and Sales Engineer and play a key role in developing service business opportunities within our Grid Connection portfolio.

In this position, you will be at the center of the commercial process, working closely with customers, sales & marketing teams, and technical experts to develop competitive service proposals and deliver value-driven so-lutions. You will help shape service strategies, prepare technical and commercial offers, and support negotiations that contribute directly to business growth.

How you will make an impact

• Prepare technical and commercial service tenders for customers.
• Analyze customer requirements and develop competitive service solutions: single tenders, frame agreements or service agreements.
• Support the sales organization throughout the bid and proposal process.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, suppliers (goods and service manpower) and commercial teams.
• Develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Negotiate technical and commercial aspects of service agreements.
• Ensure proposals comply with customer specifications and company standards.
• Support contract reviews, amendments, and scope adjustments.
• Build strong relationships with customers and internal/external stakeholders.
• Contribute to the growth and profitability of the service business.

Your background

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
• Open to entry-level candidates as well as professionals with 3+ years of relevant in technical tendering within the electrical industry.
• Experience in substations systems with focus on services.
• Strong understanding of technical and commercial proposal processes.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Team-oriented, proactive, and results-driven approach.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of assigned tasks.
