We are seeking a Team Manager - Documentation to join our Grid & Power Quality Solutions and Service business in Europe. You will belong to the Nordic Cluster within Grid Integration. This is an operating role, where you will both lead and work as a document controller. The role is responsible for leading and coordinating document control activities across complex engineering projects, ensuring compliance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements. The position requires strong leadership and stakeholder management skills in an international, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the Document Control team to ensure timely, compliant delivery of project documentation.
  • Ensure accurate registration, issuance, revision, and archiving technical documentation, including drawings, specifications, and certificates.
  • Coordinate with project disciplines to establish and maintain the Project Document List and define documentation shared with clients.
  • Prepare and present document status reports, providing clear visibility of progress to stakeholders.
  • Allocate and prioritize tasks to balance workload and meet project targets.
  • Drive team performance in line with contractual, safety, and quality requirements, implementing improvement actions when needed.
  • Coach and support team members on document control standards and best practices.
  • Deliver training and support to end users on document management systems to ensure effective adoption.
  • Ensure compliance with internal procedures and customer requirements, translating project specifications into document management processes.
  • Contribute to budget planning for the responsibility area and manage performance against agreed targets.

Required Qualifications

  • Degree in Information and Documentation, Library Science, or a related field; alternatively, a technical degree combined with relevant document management experience in engineering environments.
  • Proven experience in document control within engineering or project-based organizations.
  • Demonstrated experience leading, supervising, or coordinating a team.
  • Strong ability to define processes, allocate work, manage risks, and drive performance against objectives.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Experience with document management systems.
  • Knowledge of ACC and BIM environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong written and spoken English and Swedish.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.

Location & Citizenship Requirements

  • Position based in Västerås.
  • Swedish citizenship required due to project security requirements.
