System Engineer (SCADA/RTU) for Substation Automation 80 - 100% (f/m/d)

How you'll make an impact
- In this challenging position, you will design sub-station control systems (SCADA) for high- and medium-voltage switchgear in accordance with the latest technology standards such as IEC 61850, IEC 104, and other protocols
- You will integrate the systems, including the parameterization of the Ethernet-based communication structure
- Furthermore, you will implement project-specific functions and software applications, carry out tests, and coordinate interfaces
- Supporting on-site commissioning at facilities throughout Switzerland is also part of your role
- You will support the project manager in technical matters and coordinate both customers and in-ternal partners
- You will create operating manuals tailored to customer requirements
Your background
- Bachelor's or master's degree in power engineering, electrical engineering, or an equivalent qualification
- Basic knowledge of control and protection systems, RTU systems, or process automation systems is an advantage
- You have basic knowledge of cybersecurity and network architecture
- Alongside strong communication skills and team spirit, you must demonstrate the ability to work independently and take responsibility
- Fluent German (spoken and written) is required. Good English skills are essential; additional languages such as French are an advantage
