Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead and coordinate all third-shift shipping operations, including picking, packing, staging, loading, and shipment documentation.
- Supervise, coach, and support shipping team members to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals.
- Ensure outbound shipments meet customer requirements, company standards, and transportation regulations.
- Monitor inventory accuracy and collaborate with inventory control teams to resolve discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve shipping issues, damaged materials, and delivery-related concerns.
- Promote and oversee the safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and cost performance.
Your Background
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
- Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse, distribution, or logistics experience, including 1-2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity.
- Strong knowledge of shipping processes, inventory control, and logistics operations.
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and related business applications.
- Demonstrated leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Forklift certification, or the ability to obtain certification, and the ability to perform physical warehouse activities, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working third-shift schedules as needed.
