Shipping Coordinator

The opportunity:

We are looking for a Shipping Coordinator who will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of the company's shipping operations, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and materials.

How you'll make an impact:

• You will coordinate domestic and international shipments, including preparing all required shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms, and packing lists).
• You will schedule, track, and monitor shipments while communicating delivery status, potential delays, and updates to carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
• You will negotiate freight rates and select the most cost-effective and efficient shipping methods.
• You will ensure compliance with applicable shipping regulations, customs requirements, company policies, and internal/external procedures and guidelines.
• You will maintain accurate shipping records, databases, and shipping performance metrics, providing regular reporting and analysis.
• You will resolve shipping discrepancies, damages, claims, and other transportation-related issues in a timely manner.
• You will collaborate closely with procurement, production, and sales teams to align shipping activities and schedules with business requirements.

• You hold Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, logistics, or transportation coordination, preferably within a manufacturing or technology environment.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations, customs procedures, and Incoterms.
• Proficiency with shipping software, ERP systems (e.g., SAP), and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities, with a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
