Senior Specialist - Marketing Communications

As a Senior Specialist - Marketing Communications, you will support the Service Business Unit globally by developing compelling, customer-focused marketing and communication materials, driving customer experience, promotions, campaigns, and enhancing customer engagement. This role will be instrumental in crafting narratives that highlight our service offerings, customer success stories, and technical expertise, helping to position Hitachi Energy as a trusted partner in the energy transition.

This position is open to be based either in Manila, Xiamen, Beijing or Bangkok. Relocation is not required, as successful candidate will continue to be based in the home country locations where Hitachi Energy office is present.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will develop and write high-quality and visually appealing marketing communication content, including flyers, brochures, case studies, blogs, service profiles, and presentations for Internal and External use, drive global and local marketing campaigns and support in the events content and customer engagement.
- You will assist in developing strategies that align with customer journeys and personas, support visualization of service content & collaborate with subject matter experts, Global M&S stakeholders, R&D, and product managers to translate technical information into clear, customer-friendly language.
- You will maintain and update Marketing and Sales materials, building and driving strategies to improve overall customer experience and ensure consistency in messaging across all content.
- You will track performance and optimize content and processes based on analytics and stakeholder feedback, experience in writing and designing marketing and communications content, analytics tools to measure content effectiveness, strong project management and organizational skills.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or related field. (Electrical / Mechanical engineering degree is a plus).
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience in content, campaigns, and customer engagement, preferably in B2B or industrial sectors - Energy sector is preferable.
- Excellent writing and communication skills in English (Must).
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail, ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences.
- Experience working in a global, cross-functional environment with multicultural experience is a benefit.
- Competency in using Microsoft PowerPoint for Static Presentation, Creative and Interactive Presentation, Marketing Automation tools - Eloqua, Webinar platform on24, Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Premiere Pro skills are a plus.
