Senior Project Manager - Europe (f/m/d)

The opportunity

Hitachi Energy is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our PMO in the Product Line Power Transformer (PT) team. As the Senior Project Manager, you will play a play a pivotal in bringing innovative, high-impact projects to life and ensuring their successful execution. Your skills in leadership, competence and creativity are required for the significant expansion of the existing global PMO in the Product Line Power Transformer (HUB EUC). You are fully responsible for facilitating the necessary setups in our European PT factories, supporting integration with other BUs including Service into our European PT business. Your competence and leadership skills are required in the implementation (setting structures, rules, and coordination) of multi-factory project management, project transfer between factories, product lines, or HUBs, as well as various cross-HUB/PL initiatives.

You will have plenty of opportunity to demonstrate your communication and leadership skills on a global level, to listen and to make the decisive point at the right moment to achieve our common goal.

How you will make an impact

• Support the project team and coordinate for an effective project plan with the factories to effectively achieve goals
• Lead project planning and execution sustainable, in a timely manner and with consideration for the requirements of all ongoing planning and production processes

• Prepare all ongoing project data clearly and meaningfully for regular reporting/review for management review at all levels
• Be the sole contact person for all aspects of this complex implementation task with high responsibility, which requires a great deal of tact, experience and determination
• Coordinate the local project managers of the factories involved, always have an overview and represent PGTR at the customer in all matters

• Set and monitor standards and rules for excellence in complex project transfers and project management for multiple factories
• Be the point of contact for critical customers for execution across multiple product lines and/or HUBs
• Prepare all ongoing project data clearly and meaningfully for regular reporting/review for management
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental policies throughout the project lifecycle
• Mentor team members by providing guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration for professional growth
• Be a strong leader and defender of all interests of the HUB and BU in the subsequent implementation and supervision in cooperation with the project partners

• Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field
• [ 5+] years of project management experience with a proven track record of managing complex projects from initiation to completion
• Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide cross-functional teams toward successful project outcomes
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey project statuses to stakeholders at all levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and adapt to changing project requirements
• Hitachi Energy Senior Project Manager certification or PMP certification (or willingness to achieve) is a powerful plus
