Senior Project Manager - Data Center

Our transformers have a global sales network of about 100 countries spanning applications for power generation, transmission and distribution, metals and mining, oil and gas, commercial and infrastructure projects, and mobility. With increasing complexity in the grid, our transformers are also increasingly used for improving power quality and network management. We introduced our TXpert™ Ecosystem launching the next level for digitalization of transformers.
We are seeking an accomplished Senior Project Manager to lead and deliver large-scale, complex projects across the APMEA region, with strong emphasis on Data Center projects. This role offers the opportunity to manage initiatives that are critical to our business growth and operational excellence.

The role is open to be based in Singapore, Malaysia or Thailand. No relocation is required.
How you'll make an impact:
- You will lead and motivate project teams to achieve key objectives and milestones effectively.
- You will develop comprehensive project plans in partnership with the Project Controls department, covering all critical aspects.
- You will manage project execution, ensuring adherence to Hitachi Energy policies and best practices throughout the lifecycle, monitor and control project financials, including invoices, expenses, and cash flow while managing associated risks and opportunities.
- You will ensure all project activities comply with contractual agreements and Hitachi Energy policies, as needed, serve as the primary interface with customers and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent communication and issue resolution.
- You will ensure adherence to Hitachi Energy's health, safety, and environmental policies within all project activities, promoting a culture of excellence, collaboration and continuous improvement.
- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background:
- You hold a degree in Engineering or related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing medium-sized projects including commercial, contractual and team leadership aspects.
- Experience in Data Center projects is a strong advantage. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
- Proficient and deep understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile) and tools (e.g., MS Project), strong commercial and contractual acumen.
- Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments.
- Willingness and ability to travel within APMEA as required for project execution.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
