Hitachi Energy, a leading company in the energy sector, is expanding its team of developers responsible for building and evolving the engineering platform dedicated to designing Hitachi Energy products. The team is growing due to high market demand and the need to deliver scalable, modular software solutions that support a rapidly expanding product portfolio and increasing performance expectations.
As a senior developer in the team, you will play a key role in designing and implementing distributed systems and microservice-based architectures that meet client needs. You will have the opportunity to work on cloud-native applications, containerized services, and scalable backend systems deployed in Azure, using modern technologies such as gRPC and event-driven messaging.

How you will make an impact
- Analyze business requirements to design scalable and maintainable microservice solutions;
- Develop and deploy containerized services using modern cloud technologies;
- Design and implement gRPC-based communication between services for high-performance data exchange;
- Build event-driven architectures using messaging systems such as Azure Service Bus;
- Ensure high reliability and performance through automated testing, monitoring, and observability practices;
- Refactor monolithic applications into modular microservices;
- Continuously seek ways to improve our development processes and product offerings.
Your background
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in technical fields: computer science, electrical engineering, automation and robotics, mechatronics, physics, at least 6 years of experience as software developer;
- Proven experience in designing and developing microservices using technologies such as .NET with strong understanding of RESTful APIs, gRPC, asynchronous communication, and integration patterns in distributed systems;
- Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration (Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (preferably Azure);
- Familiarity with event-driven architecture and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus);
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps, and version control systems like GIT;
- Excellent communication and analytical skills; basic knowledge of electrotechnics is a plus;
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
