The Opportunity

In this role, you will take ownership of Secondary (Control & Protection) engineering across high-voltage substation and energy quality projects throughout Europe.
Success in this role comes from a combination of technical excellence, attention to detail, and a solutions-oriented mindset.
How you'll make an impact
- Deliver and coordinate all Control & Protection engineering scope for HV substations.
- Create and review diagrams, schematics, panel designs, and cabling documentation.
- Ensure integrity, completeness, and correct functionality of substation systems.
- Lead design, calculations, and documentation from base design to project close-out.
- Provide technical recommendations and identify risks and improvements.
- Support project teams with scope changes, including cost, time, and risk assessments.
- Resolve complex technical issues remotely and on-site (international travel occasionally).
- Collaborate cross-functionally and provide support during testing, installation, and commissioning.

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar field.
- Proven experience in Control & Protection engineering for high-voltage substations.
- Strong knowledge of substation engineering and auxiliary services.
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD for design and drafting.
- Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards.
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative and solutions-driven mindset.
