SCM R&D Project Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic SCM R&D Project Coordinator to bridge supply chain management with R&D initiatives, driving innovation and operational excellence.

In this role, you'll oversee SCM activities for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with product development timelines and supply capabilities. You'll collaborate cross-functionally to translate engineering needs into actionable supply chain strategies, manage project schedules, assess risks, and uphold compliance and quality standards.

Your leadership will be key in embedding SCM considerations early in the development process to optimize cost, quality, and sustainability.

How you'll make an impact

  • Project Coordination & Execution: Oversee all SCM activities for R&D projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timely execution.
  • Strategic Integration: Collaborate with R&D and supply chain teams to align strategies, translate engineering needs into SCM actions, and facilitate cross-functional meetings.
  • Planning & Scheduling: Manage technical planning from the SCM side, developing and maintaining project schedules that reflect supply chain capabilities.
  • Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks affecting R&D timelines or quality, and implement robust mitigation and contingency plans.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure SCM activities meet regulatory standards and quality benchmarks through collaboration with QA teams and regular audits.
  • SCM Representation: Act as the SCM voice in R&D project activities, ensuring early-stage integration of supply chain considerations.
  • Deliverables & Coordination: Submit SCM deliverables for project gate approvals, coordinate internal SCM roles, and manage documentation and training handovers.
  • Cost & Performance Estimation: Provide estimates for cost, lead time, and quality of key components to identify gaps and optimize performance throughout the project lifecycle.

Your background

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management or R&D.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data to proactively address supply chain challenges.
  • Strong in creating structures and clarity
  • Good knowledge in SAP
  • Good knowledge in MS Power Apps
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
