How you'll make an impact

Sales and Business Development

  • Identify and pursue new service sales opportunities within assigned territories and customer segments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding their operational challenges and strategic objectives.
  • Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and demonstrations of Hitachi's service portfolio.
  • Negotiate and close service agreements, ensuring alignment with company targets and customer expectations.

Technical Consultation and Solution Design

  • Collaborate with customers to understand their infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide expert consultation on suitable Hitachi service solutions, including maintenance, support, upgrades, and managed services.
  • Work with internal technical and product teams to customize service offerings to meet specific customer needs and ensure technical feasibility.

Market Analysis and Strategy

  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and technological advancements in the service sector.
  • Provide feedback to internal teams on market demands and customer needs to support service development and improvement.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and initiatives to expand market share and achieve sales targets.

Reporting and Administration

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress using CRM systems.
  • Prepare regular sales forecasts, reports, and analyses for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical guidelines.

Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • A minimum of 4 to 8 years of experience in service sales, technical sales, or a field engineering position within the industrial manufacturing sector.
  • A solid understanding of industrial systems, IT infrastructure, or Hitachi product offerings.
  • The ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with service level agreements (SLAs) and service delivery models.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify customer challenges and propose value-oriented solutions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster rapport and trust.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in the local language is a plus.
