The opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Engineer to join our team. In this role, you'll be driving sales growth and creating real impact in the energy sector. In this role, you'll work closely with the Service Sales Manager to generate opportunities, secure profitable sales, and deliver exceptional customer value. You will be building long-term customer relationships, respond quickly to their needs, and help shape innovative solutions. How you'll make an impact

  • Identifying and pursuing new service sales opportunities within assigned territories and customer segments.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients by understanding their operational challenges and strategic objectives.
  • Preparing and delivering technical and commercial proposals, presentations, and demonstrations of Hitachi's service portfolio.
  • Negotiating and closing service agreements, ensuring alignment with company targets and customer expectations.
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.
  • Conducting technical assessments and provide expert consultation on suitable Hitachi service solutions, including maintenance, support, upgrades, and managed services.
  • Working with internal technical and product teams to customize service offerings to meet specific customer needs and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.
  • Conducting technical assessments and provide expert consultation on suitable Hitachi service solutions, including maintenance, support, upgrades, and managed services.
  • Working with internal technical and product teams to customize service offerings to meet specific customer needs and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Collaborating with customers to understand their infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.

Your background

  • A bachelor's degree in electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their infrastructure, systems, and operational requirements.
  • Conduct technical assessments and provide expert consultation on suitable Hitachi service solutions, including maintenance, support, upgrades, and managed services.
  • Work with internal technical and product teams to customize service offerings to meet specific customer needs and ensure technical feasibility.
  • Proficiency in the local language is a plus.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English is required.
