Hitachi Energy is currently looking for an Sr. Sales Engineer - High Voltage switchgear for the High Voltage Business to join their team in Faridabad, Haryana, India. This team seeks a skilled and motivated individual. How you'll make an impact

  • Establish and maintain strong connections with customers (EPC's and utilities ) at all relevant levels to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Take full responsibility for meeting the sales targets for High Voltage Switchgears (AIS and GIS switchgears) in Zone North, driving revenue growth and market penetration.
  • Engage in pre-sales activities, including technical specification development and marketing initiatives to foster business growth.
  • Actively promote the company's portfolio across various segments such as industries, utilities, and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) companies.
  • Oversee the order execution process and collaborate with the project handling team to ensure timely and successful delivery of orders.
  • Ensure payment collection aligns with the forecast, contributing to the financial health of the business.
  • Utilize tools like SFDC (Salesforce), Power BI for accurate and timely reporting of sales activities and outcomes.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints promptly, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background

  • We are looking for someone with a university Diploma/ degree in electrical/electronic engineering combined with a minimum of 5 years' experience having knowledge of High Voltage Switchgear products.
  • Ready to travel and meeting with customers in zone is prime requirement.
  • To be successful in this role you are flexible with good communication skills and hold a strong customer focus. Preferably, you have a proven track record of managing and facilitating change.
  • Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required
