Regional Cybersecurity Manager Northern Europe
The Opportunity
Hitachi Energy is looking for a Regional Cybersecurity Manager - Sweden to join our global Cybersecurity function and strengthen cybersecurity execution across Sweden and Northern Europe. In this individual contributor role, you will act as the key regional interface, ensuring that global cybersecurity strategies, services, and standards are effectively translated into consistent, reliable, and accountable local execution.
Operating across multiple countries, you will bring structure, transparency, and clarity to cybersecurity delivery, helping to reduce risk, improve compliance readiness, and build trust with business stakeholders. This is a high-impact role where you will connect global capabilities with regional needs, ensuring cybersecurity outcomes are practical, visible, and aligned with business priorities.
How You Will Make an Impact
- Orchestrate delivery of cybersecurity services across the region, ensuring consistent execution aligned with global standards
- Identify, structure, and drive resolution of cybersecurity issues, ensuring clear ownership, transparency, and timely escalation
- Support ISMS and compliance activities, ensuring audit readiness, control visibility, and proactive risk identification
- Enforce structured service intake and coordination, ensuring clarity of roles, ownership, and engagement processes
- Manage dependencies, risks, and escalation pathways to prevent delivery disruptions and ensure continuity
- Act as the primary cybersecurity contact for regional stakeholders, building trust and ensuring clear communication
- Drive adoption of cybersecurity services and controls, improving stakeholder understanding and engagement
- Contribute to continuous improvement by translating recurring issues and feedback into systemic enhancements
Your Background
- >8 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related domains
- Experience working in global, cross-functional environments with exposure to risk and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIS2, CRA, NIST)
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills without direct authority
- Ability to translate cybersecurity concepts into business-relevant outcomes
- Structured, analytical mindset with a strong focus on execution and transparency
- Fluent in English and Swedish, with excellent communication and presentation skills
- Certifications in the field of Cybersecurity are very welcomed (e.g. CISM, CISSP)
