Regional Business Development Manager
The Opportunity:
Hitachi Energy is seeking candidates to join the Hub Marketing and Sales team. The Non-Utility Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) will collaborate closely with the entire sales and marketing community across Latin America, while functionally reporting to the HUB Marketing and Sales Manager.
As a BDM, you will play a crucial role in driving growth within non-traditional and high-potential market segments by promoting and selling the HE portfolio. Your focus will be on meeting and exceeding annual sales targets while securing long-term expansion aligned with the HUB SAM growth ambition plan.
How You ́ll Make an Impact:
- Drive sustainable and profitable growth within your assigned market segments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring exceptional experiences, fostering retention, securing repeat business, and aligning our business unit with market needs and trends.
- Develop, implement, and oversee business expansion strategies by setting clear goals, creating actionable plans, and tracking progress.
- Organize business development meetings and interactions with prospective customers to promote the company's value proposition.
- Conduct market research to identify emerging opportunities, assess customer needs, and evaluate business risks.
- Gather and translate market insights by engaging with customers, partners, and industry stakeholders to drive internal innovation.
- Negotiate contract terms with customers and effectively communicate with key stakeholders.
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships to support business growth and long-term success.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your Background:
- Master's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Proven experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Technical expertise in Transformers, ideally with international experience across diverse customers and product standards.
- Ability to build rapport, take risks, embrace challenges, and maintain a forward-thinking mindset.
- 10+ years of experience in technical roles within the Energy and Industrial market segments.
- Customer-focused, problem-solving mindset with a service-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated communication and negotiation skills.
- Strategic and analytical thinking ability.
