It will be a hybrid position with 3 days in office (except for work travel).
How You'll Make an Impact
- Lead technical discussions with customers and internal teams to define project requirements.
- Develop and implement grid integration strategies for large-scale energy projects.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
- Analyze system performance and recommend improvements for reliability and efficiency.
- Support proposal development and contribute to technical documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations to troubleshoot and resolve system issues.
- Stay current with industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies.
- Represent Hitachi Energy at industry events and customer meetings.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- A bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or a related field is required. Alternatively, candidates may possess a unique combination of education, experience, and demonstrated accomplishments.
- A solid understanding of power transmission and distribution products and systems is highly desirable.
- Prior experience in business-to-business sales and channel management is essential.
- Demonstrated Competence in Leveraging CRM Tools for Seamless Team Collaboration.
- A blend of education and experience showcasing the ability to handle complex assignments and a potential for promotion within the power product and systems sales organization.
- Proven track record of successful collaboration with organizations across various regions and proficiency in navigating a multicultural business environment.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience with international standards used in the power industry.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
