R&D Senior Engineer Instrument Transformers

The Opportunity

In this role, you will drive the development and optimization of oil-insulated instrument transformers, supporting reliable and sustainable energy infrastructure worldwide. How You Will Make an Impact

• Design and enhance oil-insulated high-voltage instrument transformers, including current, voltage, inductive, and combined types
• Provide technical support to global production and service teams, ensuring timely issue resolution and continuous improvement
• Lead small to medium scale product development projects, managing undirect resources, scope, timing, cost, and quality for assigned tasks
• Develop and maintain engineering tools, supporting users and improving design and process efficiency
• Analyze product performance data to drive design enhancements and innovation initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams to align on technical solutions and project goals
• Coordinate stakeholders and ensure effective knowledge sharing across the organization
• Maintain high standards of documentation, technical communication, and engineering practices

Your Background

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of experience in design and testing of medium or high-voltage equipment (preferably instrument transformers)
• Strong knowledge of oil insulation technology for high-voltage applications
• Experience with CAD/3D modeling tools (e.g., PTC Creo) and PLM systems (preferably Windchill)
• Strong organizational, coordination, and basic project management skills
• Fluent in English and Polish, with excellent communication and documentation abilities
