Quality Manager

Mission Statement:

Managing all the quality activities across the value chain; on site and in the overseas factories during manufacturing. Ensure quality requirement in the Japanese Utility market. Support qualification of oversea factories. Implementation of quality control procedures across the value chain.

Main Accountabilities and Duties:

• Responsible for quality control of all over the project with good communication with quality control team in factory, domestic supplier, related organization of Hitachi Ltd.

• Manage all the quality aspects of project by checking documents, products, joining design reviews, so on to meet requested quality level of Japanese projects

• Manage quality team in JP TR 2408 organization.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Experience:

• Educational Background: at minimum, bachelor's degree of engineering or science or equivalent, or equivalent

• Required years of experience: minimum 8 years of experiences in power transformer quality control

• Time management, presentation and planning skills

• Ability to learn and work in new environment

• Use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PPT)

• Strong in collaborative and communication skills

• Language: Strong Japanese and advanced English communication

• Management ability of quality team in the organization
