How You'll Make an Impact
- Design and implement advanced protection and control schemes for power systems.
- Develop engineering documentation and specifications for substation automation projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and cross-functional teams to meet scope and deadlines.
- Provide technical guidance and resolve design challenges during project execution.
- Engage with customers to optimize system performance and ensure satisfaction.
- Support proposal development with technical input and cost recommendations.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives for engineering processes and standards.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.
Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 12-16 years of experience in protection and control engineering.
- Strong knowledge of substation automation and grid protection systems.
- Proficiency with industry standards and vendor technologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States.
