The opportunity

For our High Voltage Business Unit we are looking for an expert Project Manager who will lead medium-to-large and moderately complex projects, ensuring execution according to contractual, financial, quality, and safety requirements. This role requires advanced project management expertise, strong stakeholder leadership, cross-functional coordination, and the ability to drive operational excellence across global and multicultural teams.

How you'll make an impact

  • Project Leadership & Execution: Lead end-to-end project execution, from initiation and planning through monitoring, control, and close-out, in alignment with customer requirements. Establish project execution strategies, secure resources, and coordinate internal/external teams to achieve all milestones. Manage change control, risk, schedule, financial performance, and reporting, ensuring transparency and proactive mitigation.
  • Stakeholder & Client Management: Act as primary interface with customers, suppliers, partners, and internal functions. Capture stakeholder needs, manage expectations, and ensure alignment between technical teams and business objectives. Lead reviews, clarifications, and decision-making processes efficiently.
  • Planning, Scheduling & Coordination: Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and work breakdown structures. Ensure compliance with internal standards, processes, and industry best practices.
  • Financial & Contractual Governance: Manage project budgets, forecasts, invoices, cash flow, and cost controls. Interpret and apply contractual terms; escalate issues with legal/commercial teams when needed.
  • Risk, Quality & HSE Management: Lead the identification and mitigation of project risks and opportunities. Ensure project execution complies with quality standards and health, safety & environment requirements.
  • Process Excellence & Continuous Improvement: Drive process improvements, contribute to global PM practices, and support operational excellence initiatives. Coach junior PMs, share lessons learned, and contribute to PM community of practice.

Your background

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • PMP®, IPMA, Prince2, or equivalent certification strongly preferred.
  • proven experience (5-7 years) in project management of medium to large-scale projects (technical, engineering, industrial, ICT, R&D, or services).
  • Strong command of project planning, scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and reporting.
  • Fluency with PM tools (MS Project, Primavera, SAP/ERP systems, Power BI, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Italian (mandatory)
