How you'll make an impact
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including detailed work breakdown structures, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets, tracking expenses, and ensuring financial targets are met.
- Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues, developing contingency plans as necessary.
- Communicate project status, progress, and challenges to stakeholders through regular reports and presentations.
- Ensure adherence to Hitachi's project management methodologies, quality standards, and compliance requirements.
- Manage vendor relationships and contracts, overseeing external contributions to projects.
- Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
- You will be responsible for ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

Your background
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within a large-scale organization.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira).
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate diverse teams.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in risk management, budget management, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working in a global or multinational corporate environment is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required; proficiency in Japanese is a significant advantage.
