The opportunity
For our Automation & Communication product group of Grid Automation business unit we are looking for an experienced Project Manager.
How you'll make impact
- Lead end-to-end project delivery using both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
- Manage the projects, including planning, prioritization, budgeting, and timeline tracking
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders contributing to project execution
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues, including escalation handling
- Prepare and deliver project status reports and executive summaries
- Strong understanding of gate-based project governance models
- Ability to plan and execute projects according to formal gate milestones, ensuring all required deliverables, documentation, and criteria are met at each stage
- Experience preparing teams for Gate Reviews, including:
- consolidating evidence and metrics
- validating scope and readiness
- ensuring risks, decisions, and open points are clearly presented
- Demonstrated ability to steer cross-functional teams (development, QA, operations, business stakeholders) toward meeting gate deliverables with clarity and discipline
- Ability to anticipate gaps ahead of gate reviews, proactively address blockers, and maintain transparency with leadership
- Experience facilitating decision-making at gates, ensuring options, impacts, and recommendations are well prepared for senior stakeholders
- Promote and embed best practices in project and portfolio management across the organization
- Lead effective Project Steering Committee meetings ensuring the committee has context needed to take timely, well-founded decisions and define actions
Your background
- Master's degree in Business, Management, Engineering, IT, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in IT Project Management, including PMO-related activities or leading cross-functional initiatives
- Experience in delivering software projects is a strong advantage
- Experience coordinating multinational teams working remotely; comfortable working in a matrixed and geographically distributed organization
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills
- Skilled in risk assessment and mitigation planning
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and Waterfall model
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- PMP certification or equivalent is an advantage
