Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee various energy infrastructure projects within HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED. This role involves comprehensive project lifecycle management, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to budget, and high-quality execution in line with company standards and client expectations.
Job Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of assigned projects from initiation through closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and close-out activities.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
Manage project teams, providing leadership, guidance, and support to ensure successful project outcomes.

Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to address potential issues.
Oversee financial performance of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental, and quality standards and regulations.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including clients, suppliers, internal teams, and senior management, providing regular project status updates.
Negotiate and manage contracts with vendors and subcontractors, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions.
Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools.
Prepare and present project reports, progress updates, and final project documentation.
Job Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, or related field) or a relevant technical discipline. A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects within the energy sector (e.g., power transmission and distribution, renewable energy, industrial automation).
PMP or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies, tools, and best practices.
Demonstrated experience in managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Fluency in English is required; knowledge of local Indian languages is an advantage.
