Project Manager
HITACHI ENERGY INDIA LIMITED is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee the successful execution of various projects within our organization, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure phases.
Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, resource allocation, and budget.
Define and manage project scope, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder expectations.
Secure and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to optimize efficiency and achieve project goals.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans and solutions to address potential challenges.
Communicate regularly and effectively with all project stakeholders, including senior management, team members, clients, and vendors.
Monitor project progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare regular status reports.
Manage project budgets, track expenses, and ensure financial targets are met.
Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Conduct post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify areas for improvement.
Support business development activities by contributing to proposals and client presentations.
Job Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in project management, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sectors.
Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects from inception to completion.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Waterfall, Agile, PRINCE2) and tools. PMP or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, resources, and timelines effectively.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Fluency in English (written and spoken) is required. Knowledge of local languages is a plus.
