Project Management Specialist Professional

The opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Energy System Project Management Specialist Professional to join our team at Hitachi, Ltd. This role will be responsible for leading and executing complex energy system projects, ensuring successful delivery from conception to completion.

How you'll make an impact:

• Manage the full project lifecycle for energy system projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure, adhering to established methodologies and best practices.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, budget forecasting, and timeline management.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, fostering effective communication and collaboration among internal stakeholders, external partners, and vendors.
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, developing contingency plans to ensure project continuity and success.
• Monitor project progress against established milestones and KPIs, providing regular status reports and presentations to management and stakeholders.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
• Oversee the procurement and management of project resources, including equipment, materials, and specialized services.
• Conduct post-project reviews and analyses to identify lessons learned and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the energy sector.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes and tools within Hitachi, Ltd.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Energy Management, Project Management, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in project management, specifically within the energy sector (e.g., renewable energy, power generation, smart grids, energy storage).
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex energy system projects from initiation to closure.
• Strong understanding of energy technologies, industry standards, and regulatory frameworks.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6).
• PMP or equivalent project management certification highly preferred.
• Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluency in English and Thai (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in Japanese is a plus.
