The opportunity

Hitachi Energy offers a complete range of power transformers, traction transformers, insulation and components, digital sensors and transformer services.

Our transformers have a global sales network of about 100 countries spanning applications for power generation, transmission and distribution, metals and mining, oil and gas, commercial and infrastructure projects, and mobility. With increasing complexity in the grid, our transformers are also increasingly used for improving power quality and network management. We introduced our TXpert™ Ecosystem launching the next level for digitalization of transformers.

How you'll make an impact

• You will gain an understanding of electric power systems, which are a key part of social infrastructure.
• You will learn how electricity is delivered from generation to end users within the power system.
• You will deepen knowledge of transformers, which play a crucial role in power systems.
• You will understand manufacturing, including planning, design, production, and quality control.
• You will experience the unique environment of Hitachi Energy Japan, which balances aspects of both global and Japanese corporate cultures.
• You will develop practical business English skills through real communication in a global company setting.
• You will experience rapidly changing work styles that have evolved since the COVID-19 pandemic and gain insights into next-generation ways of working.

Your background

• You hold a bachelor's degree.
• Dedication, flexibility, and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication skills and positive mental attitude.
• International experience, cross-cultural sensitivity.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.
