Job Title: Project Engineer (HV Breakers)
The opportunity
As Project Engineer you will focus on working closely with Senior Project Engineer and Operations team for implementing smooth operational plan for completing an engineering-based project which includes working on any issues which comes up during execution of the project. This will require working in shift timings as support is primarily expected on the shop floor where the engineer will work hand in hand with operations for the common goal of shipping breakers on time. Responsibilities include working on quality notifications arising on shop floor and coordinating with Senior Project Engineers and Senior Product Care along with production & testing supervisors. They will also work in doing peer reviews for the engineered projects time to time. Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex
How you'll make an impact
- 1. Act as a technical leader for issues arising in shop floor for customer orders.
2.Generating BOM in ERP of products for customer orders by working closely with team members or individually.
3.Able to understand circuit diagrams / schematics prepared for customer orders.
4.Able to understand Mechanical design / drawings made in 3D design tool, we use Creo.
5.Work closely with Design engineers and Secondary engineers for reviewing the 2D and 3D drawings for supporting testing issues which arises.
6.Support queries from Production team or Testing team on technical queries raised.
7.Support to various cross functions like SCM, Project management and Quality for understanding the customer orders in case if required.

Documentation
Directly responsible for maintaining and updating the quality notifications for respective projects as per quality process.
Your background
- Knowledge of High voltage switchgear (66kv and above)
Years of experience: 4-6 years with bachelor's in Electrical Engineering
Knowledge of relevant international standards ex. IEEE, ANSI & IEC.
Proficiency in ERP software is added advantage.
Understanding Manufacturing Drawings & Electrical Schematics.
Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and writing skills.
