The opportunity:
The Project Documentation Specialist for HVDC Services will manage, organize, and maintain all technical and project-related documentation throughout the lifecycle of High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) projects, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards and client requirements.
How you'll make an impact:
- Develop, implement, and maintain document control processes and procedures for HVDC projects, including document numbering, revision control, and distribution.
- Receive, log, track, and distribute all incoming and outgoing project documentation, including drawings, specifications, reports, manuals, and correspondence.
- Ensure timely review, approval, and release of project documents in collaboration with engineering, project management, and quality assurance teams.
- Utilize and manage document management systems (DMS) effectively, ensuring data integrity and user accessibility.
- Conduct regular audits of project documentation to ensure compliance with company standards, client requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
- Prepare and compile final project documentation packages (As-Built documentation) for handover to clients.
- Provide training and support to project team members on document control procedures and DMS usage.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements in documentation processes.
- Manage confidential and proprietary information with the highest level of discretion.

Your Background:
- Hold a bachelor's degree in a non-engineering discipline.
- Minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in document control or project documentation, preferably within the power generation, transmission, or heavy industrial sectors.
- Excellent organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications is a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact effectively with various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced project environment.
